Scenista Is Now in Open Beta

Scenista is no longer invite-only. Anyone can create an account and start writing today — no request, no approval queue, no waiting.
From closed beta to open beta
Until now, every new account went through manual review before we let someone in. That was deliberate — we wanted a small, engaged group of screenwriters shaping the editor before opening the doors to everyone. That phase is done. The formatting engine, pagination, and editor tooling have been through months of real use and real feedback, and it's ready for anyone who writes screenplays to pick up and use.
What's new since our last post
- Self-serve signup. Create an account and start writing immediately — no request form, no waiting for approval.
- Indie and Pro plans are live. Indie ($4.99/mo) unlocks private scripts and unlimited PDF exports. Pro ($9.99/mo) adds unlimited scripts and a custom export watermark. Both are available now from your account's Upgrade page.
- A real support system. Reporting a bug or requesting a feature used to mean sending an email and hoping. Now it becomes a proper support ticket — our team can reply, ask follow-up questions, and you'll see the whole conversation (and get notified) from your account's Support page.
Still building, in the open
Open Beta doesn't mean finished. We're still actively building, and you'll occasionally see a short maintenance window while we ship updates — we keep those as brief as we can. What's changed is that you no longer need our permission to be part of it.
