Scenista's Closed Beta Is Open Again

Scenista is back to accepting new beta sign-ups after a short pause while we moved account email — verification links, password resets, and beta approvals — to a new delivery provider.
What was paused, and why
New sign-ups depend on a working email pipeline: without it, new writers couldn't confirm their accounts and existing ones couldn't reset a forgotten password. We paused new registrations rather than let people sign up into a broken flow, migrated our email infrastructure, and verified every account flow end-to-end before reopening.
What you get in the beta
- A screenplay editor built around industry-standard formatting — scene headings, character cues, and dialogue that indent and paginate the way a produced script should
- A public discovery feed for sharing your work and finding other writers
- Following, likes, and a saved-scripts list to track what you're reading
- PDF export, including watermarked exports for scripts you're sharing publicly
Why we're keeping the beta closed
Scenista isn't finished, and that's on purpose. We're still tuning formatting behavior, fixing rough edges in the editor, and building the features screenwriters keep asking for — and closed beta is how we do that carefully instead of rushing a half-built product out to everyone at once.
Every account we approve is someone we're relying on. Bug reports, feature requests, and day-to-day feedback from beta writers go directly into what we build next — the editor you're using today is better because of notes from the writers already in it. That makes every beta member a contributor to the product, not just an early user of it.
